"No 10th Victim" Memorial Demonstration in Kassel

The demonstration “No 10th Victim” was organized by the families and friends of the NSU victims. It took place on May 6, 2006 in Kassel and in June 2006 in Dortmund. Shortly before, Halit Yozgat had been murdered on April 6, 2006, and Mehmet Kubaşık on April 4, 2006. In Kassel, the route led from near the Yozgat family’s internet café to Kassel City Hall. With banners and speeches, the roughly 4,000 participants called on politicians and the public to recognize the racist pattern behind the crimes and to search for the perpetrators.
