Death List

In December 2011, the Thuringia State Criminal Police Office (LKA) informed Karin K., a member of the Left Party in the Jena city council and in the Thuringian state parliament, that she appeared with the address and phone number of the party office on a “death list” that the Jena trio had compiled. In previous years, the councilwoman had repeatedly been photographed and filmed by neo-Nazis. According to a neo-Nazi well known in Jena, she had been earmarked “for a new concentration camp and the next stretch of highway to be built.” In addition, there had been several attempted break-ins at the Left Party office in Jena.
