Third apartment of Zschäpe, Mundlos and Böhnhardt

From 1 September 1998, Mundlos, Zschäpe and Böhnhardt moved into their first own apartment while living underground, which they did not share with any comrades. The apartment was rented by Carsten R.. According to his own account, R. merely signed the lease. When he was approached with the request to rent it, the apartment had already been chosen. Carsten R. had merely handled the handover with the estate agent. After that, he visited the three of them only at irregular intervals, partly to check that everything was in order.
