On 4 November 2011, Zschäpe was presumably driven by André E. to Zwickau train station, where he gave her clothing belonging to his wife Susann E., and she travelled by train to Chemnitz. On 5 November, Zschäpe called Böhnhardt’s parents from a telephone box in Chemnitz. She then contacted the Mundlos family from a nearby public telephone.
