Accused: Susann E.

The married couple Susann and André E. were among the NSU’s most important supporters. Susann E. was Beate Zschäpe’s best friend and closest confidante, and visited her frequently at her apartments in Zwickau. In doing so, Susann E. helped maintain the trio’s bourgeois facade. She also had knowledge of the robberies and lent her identity for rental costs and for arranging holidays and rail passes (BahnCards).
