Halitplatz

Halitplatz in Kassel was inaugurated on 1 October 2012 in memory of Halit Yozgat, who was shot dead by the NSU on 6 April 2006 in his internet café at Holländische Straße 82.

The square lies around 100 metres from the scene of the crime; the tram stop there was also named after him. On the square stands a stele bearing a memorial plaque with the names of the ten people murdered by the NSU.
